The Fifth Faith Studies Research Conference: This Year’s Theme Is “On Human Revolution”

On Sunday, November 30, the Fifth Faith Studies Research Conference, hosted by the Institute of Soka Faith Studies, was held.

This year, under the theme “On Human Revolution,” the conference featured research presentations by the Institute’s research fellows, together with special lectures by invited guests: the author Masayuki Maehara, and Hiroshi Kainuma, Associate Professor at the Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies, the University of Tokyo.

In the post-event questionnaire, participants offered comments such as: “Things I had been thinking about in my own faith and activities were put into words—it was a real learning experience.”
